Your Mistaken

You scored the perfect meme to express your thoughts! You’re posting it, sending it, sharing it far and wide so everyone will understand the complexity of your soul. There’s just one teeeeensy, little problem…somebody spelled that shit wrong.
Instead of sharing in your struggle, everybody just thinks you’re an idiot. Instead of earning a brilliant high-five, you’ve earned intellectual pity. Instead of getting a laugh, you got uncomfortable crickets chirping. Bonus points if there’s a grammatical error in your meme bitching about grammatical errors! It’s a double-edged peeve, too, because while it’s butt-cringingly awkward to see friends post language-fucked memes, it’s equally exasperating to find the PERFECT quote/meme/phrase to enlighten the masses…but there’s that damned missing apostrophe. That jacked-up tense. That extra conjunction. The perfect opportunity to bitch…ruined. GAAARRRGH!!!
It’s so good, you’re tempted to share it anyway, but like a straight girl in a gay bar, you have to accept that it’s not going to work out so just leave it alone. Don’t try to explain it away, preface it, or force it to thrive.
Speaking of verbal nails-on-a-chalkboard...
